Held Over: American and Gogo Offering Free Streaming Movie Rental in October
Last month American and Gogo offered passengers a free inflight streaming movie or TV show. The offer was supposed to expire at the end of September, but I noticed on a recent flight that they’ve extended the promo through the end of October!
I’m a big fan of on-demand access to streaming movies:
• I can watch on my laptop or my iPad! Also works with Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom or any tablet that runs Android OS 3.2 or higher.
• Choose from 75 movies (including several recent releases plus classics like The Big Lebowski)
• More than 75 television shows including Downton Abbey, Big Bang Theory, and Rick Steves
• If you run out of time you can watch your selection on the ground – you get 24 hours from time of purchase to finish your movie.
Most movies cost $3.99 and television programs are 99 cents, and you don’t have to purchase Wifi to stream a movie.
The promo code works even if you redeemed a free movie in September: I was able to use the code last month, and again this month.
Use promo code FREESHOW at checkout to get your free program.
Fine print: limit one per customer. Offer expires October 30, 2013.
