The Lastest American Airlines 777-300ER Schedule

Last week, Los Angeles/London joined the growing list of routes to get American’s new Boeing 777-300ER. This brings to ten the number of flights that have been upgraded with American’s newest widebody plane. Four more aircraft are scheduled to go into service this Summer.

If you’re trying to plan some travel, or just wondering where the new planes are flying to, you’ll be interested to know that American posted an updated schedule of their 777-300ER flights at AA.com.

Here’s a look.

This schedule doesn’t include the one-time 777-300ER domestic run that American has planned for August 4, 2013 between New York JFK and San Diego.

American is expecting to take delivery of 15 777-300ER in 2013. Here’s a link to the latest 77W information at AA.com.

    1. @ ABC – American has applied for approval to operate the 77W between LAX and Sao Paulo starting in November 2013, but other than that, they haven’t announced their plans beyond August. Their most recently published GDS timetable of their 77W operating schedule is good through Summer 2013..

They seem to be intent on deploying the new plane on their highly lucrative routes to Brazil and and the ultra-competitive transatlantic market. So far, they haven’t shared any plans to use the 77W on routes to Japan or China.

  1. chance of china is like zero. LAX-PVG is in a multi-way fare war and ORD-PEK is just bleeding without bandaid.

my guest of next routes : the same bets like MIA-GRU, MIA-EZE, MIA-LHR, and ORD-LHR. oddball chance : DFW-NRT.

    ultra minor chance : DFW-HKG or MIA-NRT.

  2. Not sure I believe any of this “we don´t know yet”. Sure, there may be some changes and extra thought put into it with everything that is going know regarding the merger but when AA decided to put a PO that big to Boeing and Airbus, they knew exactly how they would use the new planes and for which routes. While the 77W makes sense for GRU and LHR, it also makes sense for EZE, for example. I´m not quite sure what their plans are but with some many new 77W on the way I would assume some of the new routes will surprise one or two of us. I just wish we knew….
