Admirals Club Discount Code: save $100 on new membership

Wink

I received an email with what is supposed to be a targeted Admirals Club discount offer, but I’m already a member of the Admirals Club so I’m not sure how “targeted” it actually is…wink, wink…..

If you have travel plans this year, experience unparalleled service and comfort in an American Airlines Admirals Club lounge.

Escape to an oasis of peace – away from all of the airport hustle and bustle.

Purchase a new annual Admirals Club membership online today and save $100 on the annual membership fee. Use promotion code ACQ112 online and then click the RECALCULATE button to receive the discount. Enjoy personalized service, comfort and exceptional amenities including:

Complimentary house wine, beer and spirits
Complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks
Complimentary light snacks
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Complimentary PC’s with internet access
Personal travel assistance with your reservations
Plus more!

As an Admirals Club member, you will have access to more than 40 Admirals Club lounges worldwide including: Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, London and many more.

Don’t tell anyone, but the first time I signed up I used a promo code for what supposed to be a targeted offer and still received the discount.  No guarantee that this promo code will work if you didn’t receive the offer, but I thought I’d mention it anyway…(^_-) (^_-).

Editors note: Ted sent in a reader comment to say that when he tried the code it generated a $50 discount.  So you’re savings may vary.  Feel free to give it a try and  share your results in the comment section.

    1. Hi Ted – So it was the exact same code? That’s interesting….I figured it was more generic than that. Thanks for posting.

  1. Anyone know if this extends one’s current account by one year, or if you are starting a new account with the current date as the starting point?E

    1. Hi Biblioman – I don’t think it will work. Last year when it was time for me to renew my membership, I tried using a code to see if it would earn me a discount and got an error message. Since it’s linked to your AAdvantage number, they system is able to validate whether or not you’re joining or renewing.

      Thanks for reading!

  2. As a member, I got that offer as well. A day later got the following apology:

“You may have received an email from us yesterday including an offer for a new Admirals Club® membership. We realize you are already an Admirals Club member and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused. We have identified the issue and have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again.

We value your relationship and understand that communicating with you via email is a privilege not to be taken lightly. Again, we apologize for any confusion the email may have caused and strive to provide you with an enjoyable Admirals Club experience. We appreciate you as a customer and look forward to welcoming you in an Admirals Club soon.”

    1. @ Jc – Thanks for posting. I almost missed it. I got one too and Gmail sent it to my SPAM folder. I understand that mistakes happen, but if they were really sorry, they’d give you and me lifetime Executive Platinum status! 😀

  3. Thanks for posting the code. It worked for me on 2/19/12. I had purposely let my membership expire last Nov as we were not traveling until end of this month. I was able to use it for a new membership. 🙂

    1. @ Kris – Woo hoo!! Thanks for taking the time to let me know it worked for you, and thanks for reading . 🙂

  4. Worked for me just now. $100 off, which was good because I was looking at the Qantas version of it too & trying to decide which to join. And then I realized that the AA programme is both cheaper because of the exchange rate and with the promo code Quite A Good Deal. I fully intend to use every lounge I can find. 🙂
