Win 500,000 AAdvantage Miles in the American Airlines Celebrated Living Readers’ Choice Sweepstakes

Before I get to the sweepstakes, keep an eye on your inbox if you entered the American Airlines Scavenger Hunt Facebook contest. Darren over at Frequently Flying writes that the free 100 bonus miles are available.

Each year Celebrated Living, the in-flight American Airlines magazine found in first class, conducts a survey of readers to find their favorite hotels, resorts, spas, golf courses, and cruise lines (oddly enough, they don’t ask readers to name their favorite airline….).

Here’s the info:

Celebrated Living Readers’ Choice Platinum List Survey Sweepstakes!

Choose your favorite hotels, spas, cruises, and golf courses in the survey between November 15, 2011 and February 14, 2012 you’ll automatically be entered into a sweepstakes to win the Grand Prize of:

• 500,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles

• A full-day Land Rover Driving School

• A three-night stay at the world-famous Biltmore Estate in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, breakfast daily, and one dinner.

Imagine exploring the 8,000-acre property from the driver’s seat of a Land Rover. The Biltmore’s woodlands, pastures, and rolling hills create an exceptional setting for off-road driving, accompanied by a professional Land Rover Experience Driving Instructor, of course.

Five second prize winners will each win 100,000 AAdvantage miles.

Go here to take the survey and enter.

  1. Hummm…that survey looks a bit bogus. It looks put together by a beginner programmer compared to most AA contests with lots of moving graphics. I’m going to pass on putting that much information out there.

  2. @ Bohemiana – LOL, you’re right, the site does look a little amateurish, and your wise to be skeptical, but in this instance, the site is legit.

I did a lookup of the domain, aapsecure.com, and it’s registered to American Airlines Publishing:

    Registrant:
American Airlines, Inc., DBA AA Publishing

And, I’ve seen a number of their American Way and Celebrated Living Surveys (the do them fairly regularly) and they all look web pages designed back in 1998:-)

Thanks though for bringing it up and thanks too for reading!
