New Q3 Citi AAdvantage Reduced Mileage Awards: now you can book one-way awards!!
Citi just released an updated AAdvantage Reduced Mileage Awards chart for third quarter 2013. They’ve also introduced a great new feature: you can now book one-way awards!!
Get to your destination with fewer AAdvantage miles. All New! Enjoy more flexibility with one-way or round trip travel options and more frequent destination updates!
With Reduced Mileage Awards, eligible Citi / AAdvantage cardmembers can save thousands of AAdvantage miles when redeeming miles for a MileSAAver award to select destinations. Choose from one-way or round trip travel to maximize your savings.
Depending upon which card you have, you can save 5,000 to 7,500 AAdvantage Miles with a round-trip award, or 2,500 to 3,750 miles with a one-way redemption.
Citi AAdvantage Reduced Mileage awards also qualify for the 10% mileage rebate benefit (up to 10,000 miles annually) that comes with the Citi AAdvantage credit card. So, with the right card it’s possible to book a one-way award for just 7,875 AAdvantage Miles!
For this upcoming quarter you’ll find reduced milage awards to some great destinations: New York City (EWR), Monterey, Santa Barbara, Washington DC, Fort Lauderdale, Toronto, and (my favorite) Montreal.

Yes everyone come to STL on the cheap. We have a new Admirals Club and a new terminal. If we get enough people maybe AA will reopen our hub 🙂 Ryan Bingham likes it.
Seriously you can fly into STL, jump on the low cost metrolink train to downtown and go to a ton of free museums, free world class zoo. See the Arch, visit the new baseball park, take a free tour of the Budweiser brewery, see the Clydesdale’s. Rent a car and head to Grant’s Farm and Six Flags. Cheap vacation !
@ DaninSTL – Thanks for suggesting some great places to see in STL!
Back when I was in school, one of my roommates was from from St. Louis. We’d go there for concerts or to just spend the weekend from time to time. I love St Louis! One of the places we’d go is still there, Dressel’s Public House. I still like to visit it when I’m in town.
St. Louis is a great food town. Love the pizza! Also, anyone that visits should try to make the time to visit Crown Candy Kitchen and Home Wine Kitchen.
Great … now if American / Citi would figure out a way to let us book those online, that will be greatness. Not holding my breath, though.
