From Jaunted: On Board the First American Airlines flight to Seoul
I just noticed that Jaunted was on hand for American’s inaugural flight from DFW to Seoul, and that they published a trip report and photo gallery of the event.
They have photos of the food, the pre-flight party, even the goodie bag! Go here to view the photo gallery and here for the full trip report.

I found Seoul to be a soulless place. Very disappointed.
Where at Dfw do they still have the older style departure monitors?
@ Levy Flight – That’s interesting, was it the newness, the commercialism, or something else?
@ Tony – I’m not positive, but I think that’s the display panel that’s mounted on the wall of the Terminal D Admirals Club.
Have there been any upgrades to any of the Dfw clubs yet as part of trip or is ORDs G concourse the only one seeing new branding so far?
I was embarrassed at how old the plane was they use on this route. I just flew on it on Friday. Instead of using the 777-300 on routes to NYC (competition is only BA really or other US legacy carriers) they should use one on this route. I fly USA-Seoul often and love carriers like Korean Airlines and Asiana. Their planes are so new and modern with lots of nice amenities.
The plane I took was so old and showed. When was the last time you used in the in-flight fax portal at your seat? Seriously, AA?
