If you’re tired of the cold weather and thinking about a cruise to warmer climes, American Airlines Cruises is offering up to 25,000 bonus AAdvantage Miles as a further temptation.  This is how they’re describing their offer:

For a limited time, when you book a cruise on AA.com you’ll earn up to 25,000 AAdvantage bonus miles! Plus, when you book right now during our Cruise Getaway Sale, you’ll find deals from $169, free onboard spending credit, and balcony upgrades.

So, book your relaxing cruise vacation today and start planning how to spend 25,000 AAdvantage bonus miles on a second vacation! Here are a few ideas (each 25,000 miles or less):

Round–trip flight award within the Continental U.S.(excluding Hawaii)
American Airlines Vacations Package: 4–star hotel + rental car weekend getaway
Road Trip Adventure: Weekly car rental and two 1–night hotel stays along the way

The total number of miles you earn is based on the cabin you book and the lenght of your trip. Here’s the breakdown of the bonus levels:

Up to 25,000 Bonus Miles: Miles awards are per stateroom and are awarded to only one passenger per cruise booking.

To qualify for the bonus mileage award you must book a balcony or suite stateroom between Jan 6 2011 and Feb 11, 2011 aboard any 3 night or greater sailing departing before Dec 31, 2011.

3-5 night balcony sailings receive 1,750 bonus miles.

3-5 night suite sailings receive 2,500 bonus miles.

6-12 night balcony sailings receive 7,000 bonus miles.

6-12 night suite sailings receive 10,000 bonus miles.

13 night or longer balcony sailings receive 17,500 bonus miles.

13 night or longer suite sailings receive 25,000 bonus miles.

I can’t imagine being on a boat for 13 or more nights, let alone having the time to do it, but I was surprised by how affordable it would be. I assumed that a 13 night cruise in one of the premium cabins would be $10,000, but found packages starting for as little as $1,600 for a balcony stateroom. Anyway, if you’re already thinking about a cruise, then this offer might be all you need to make the decision.

After the snow, cold and ice in Dallas this week…..go here to book a cruise or find out more about the offer.
