AAdvantage bonus on mileage transfers

American is offering up to a 25% bonus when you transfer miles to another AAdvantage member’s account.  They’ve also increased the number of miles you may transfer in a year.  Some details:

For a limited time, you can transfer up to 25,000 of your extra American Airlines AAdvantage^® miles to a friend or family member’s account in a single transaction and up to 100,000 miles per account per calendar year.

And if you need more miles to book a flight award, you can ask friends or family members to share their extra miles with you. For a limited time, you can receive up to 25,000 in a single transaction and up to 100,000 miles per account per calendar year.
